Stories

Stories are open to submissions and encourage research into a broadly considered field of Central Asian art history. We welcome proposals from writers, curators, artists and scholars on a range of topics related to modern and contemporary art, including art from specific countries considered Central Asian such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, but also what could be considered the wider Central Asia including (art) historical links and threads that connect the region with South Caucasus, South-, East-, West- and Southeast Asia. Cross-geographic proposals, and examination of diasporic connections are also welcome.
