The lecture focuses on the work of Richard Serra (1938–2024), the American artist who embodied the principles of late 20th-century art in monumental objects made from industrial materials, such as lead, rubber and stainless steel. His sculpture Junction (2011) is part of the Almaty Museum of Arts collection.
